Hooray for Homeopathy

Homeopathy

Homeopathy was originally developed in the 18th century by Dr Samuel Hahnemann. It is a system of medicine which addresses good health holistically. It takes the whole person into consideration and not just the disease or symptoms. The underlying principle is that “like cures like”. An illustration of this is Allium cepa. Made from the onion, this remedy might be selected to treat someone with watering eyes and a streaming nose – exactly the symptoms experienced when peeling an onion.

The remedies are made from natural substances, but in tiny amounts which have been diluted and potentised to make them safe and effective. (For more about homeopathy see blogs.)

Classical or practical approach to treatment?

As a homeopath trained in both classical and practical homeopathic methodology I have multiple treatment options and approaches at my fingertips. Chronic illness can be complex and responds well to a multi-pronged approach. (For more information see blogs)

Homeobotanical therapy

Homeobotanical remedies are blends of herbal tinctures which have been prepared homeopathically. They have been selectively chosen to target specific systems and organs of the body. I use these blends alongside homeopathic remedies.

Potentised herbs

If you are already ill, using herbs in their natural form can be very aggravating for the body and make you feel much worse. This is why I use the herbs in potency as homeopathic remedies. As homeopathic remedies they work more gently whilst still being effective.

Scio Bioresonance Health Assessments

I use the SCIO to help discover imbalances in the body’s energy field.

The SCIO (Scientific Consciousness Interface Operations System) is a safe, non-invasive, powerful bio-feedback tool. It is the most advanced system available in energetic medicine applications. It scans the body against its vast library of test substances and produces a list of these substances which are causing potential stresses in the body. These include, among others, pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi etc), traumas, toxins, nutrient deficiencies, allergies, hereditary disorders and emotional factors.

This insight can help me understand how to best support your immune system to regenerate and where nutritional support might be needed.
